How can I get an email notification when there’s a new order in my store?
There are two order notifications available in your BigCommerce store.
Basic Order Notification
This option will just tell you a new order has been placed. Go to Advanced Settings > Notifications. At the top of that screen, you’ll see where you can enable new order notifications. Once enabled, click on the tab for Email at the top of the screen to enter your email address and save.
Copy of Customer Order Email
This option will send you a copy of the order confirmation email that each customer receives. Go to Store Setup > Store Settings. Click on the Miscellaneous tab. You’ll see a checkbox to “Forward Order Invoices”. Check the box and then enter your email address in the box provided. Note that you can enter multiple email addresses here, separated by commas. Save your changes when finished.
