Simple SKU Migration

$1000*

This process is for stores that meet the following criteria:

  • Some or all of your products have options
  • Your products usually only have one option (ex. size OR color)
  • You’ve already created SKUs for all your product options/variants OR you have less than 250 products that have options without SKUs
  • You don’t use configurable fields
  • You haven’t enabled Google Shopping for any of your products or categories

Complex Migration

$3000 and up*

This process is for stores that meet a combination of the following criteria:

  • Some or all of your products have options
  • Your products often have multiple options (ex. size AND color)
  • You haven’t created SKUs for all your product options OR you have more than 250 products that have options without SKUs
  • You use configurable fields
  • You have enabled Google Shopping for all/some products and categories

DIY Migration

FREE

If you’re comfortable working with spreadsheets and have a good understanding of BigCommerce product options and SKUs, you may be able to complete the upgrade yourself with my FREE step-by-step instructions.

Your success will depend on your skill level and how well you follow the instructions. If you would otherwise fall into the Complex Migration above, I suggest hiring an expert like Duck Soup E-Commerce to complete the migration for you.

Automatic Migration

FREE

You can do an easy, automatic migration to V3 if your store meets the following criteria.

  • You don’t use product options
  • You don’t use configurable fields
  • You haven’t enabled Google Shopping for any products or categories

You should see a message in your control panel that says you’re eligible to upgrade to the new product experience. Just click the button provided for an automatic migration.

If you believe you meet the criteria but are instead seeing a message that your products can’t be upgraded, it’s most likely related to Google Shopping. Follow my instructions to disable Google Shopping.
