About Me
I built this business because I saw how agencies were failing merchants.
I’m Danielle Mead — a solo BigCommerce consultant based in Southern California. I started Duck Soup in 2011 after more than a decade working across every corner of e-commerce: design, merchandising, marketing, and analytics. I’d seen firsthand what happened when merchants hired big agencies — the handoffs, the slow timelines, the bloated costs, the account managers who’d never touched a store themselves.
So I went a different direction. One person, one platform, doing the work myself from start to finish. That’s still exactly how I operate today.
I’ve since helped more than 700 merchants launch, migrate, and grow their BigCommerce stores — from small independent shops to established B2B brands. I hold Legend status in the BigCommerce Community and have been a Certified Partner since 2011. But honestly, the thing I’m most proud of is that most of my clients come back.
